Calabar High School has selected Kemar Ricketts to head its football programme, with his appointment taking effect on June 1, 2026, according to a statement from the institution.
The school said Ricketts arrives with broad coaching experience, a focus on developing young players, and a commitment to building a disciplined, competitive setup that fits Calabar's sporting heritage. Officials also pointed to his work at the schoolboy level and within Jamaica's major and premier football leagues.
Principal Sian Wilson welcomed the decision, saying the administration is hopeful about the programme's path under Ricketts.
