Berger Paints signs three-year deal as CPL official paint partner

2 min read

Berger Paints has struck a three-year agreement with the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) to serve as the tournament’s official paint partner, linking one of the region’s best-known coatings firms with a leading Caribbean sports franchise.

Under the arrangement, the brand will maintain a visible presence across the season, reaching supporters through on-site activations, promotional campaigns and branded experiences at venues and online.

Company officials say the tie-up continues Berger’s wider push to back Caribbean community programmes and initiatives that draw people together across the region.

Cricket holds a central place in Caribbean life. Since the CPL launched in 2013, it has become a flagship regional competition, drawing large crowds at grounds and a global television and streaming audience numbered in the millions.

Berger Paints plans to use the alliance to spotlight Caribbean culture while underscoring its long-running work to strengthen communities and advance regional development.

The deal also covers the use of Berger’s specialist grass paint on pitches throughout the CPL campaign, aimed at keeping playing surfaces looking sharp and professional at host grounds across the Caribbean.

“Berger has been enhancing and protecting Caribbean homes, businesses, and communities for generations. Becoming the official paint partner of the CPL is a natural fit for our brand as we continue to champion Caribbean excellence and connect with consumers through one of the region’s most celebrated sporting events,” said Nicholas Mac Lean, managing director of coatings in the ANSA McAL construction sector.

For more than 60 years, Berger has been regarded across the Caribbean for product quality, innovation and dependability. Its paints are produced in Jamaica, Trinidad and Grenada and sold throughout the region, bolstering local manufacturing and economic activity while offering finishes suited to Caribbean climates.

The CPL link, the company says, deepens Berger’s role not only in protecting and improving buildings and outdoor spaces, but also in backing the competitions, institutions and communities that bind the Caribbean together.

As the new CPL season gathers pace, Berger Paints says it intends to connect with cricket audiences across the region and highlight its “Made for the Caribbean” identity.
