France cruise past Sweden 3-0 to seal World Cup last-16 berth

EAST RUTHERFORD, United States (AFP) — France put Sweden to the sword with a 3-0 win on Tuesday, securing a place in the World Cup round of 16.
Kylian Mbappe found the net in the 45th and 74th minutes, raising his goals count at the tournament to six. Bradley Barcola added another strike after the interval as Les Bleus closed out a comfortable victory.
France will take on Paraguay on Saturday in the next round.
