أقامت American Chamber of Commerce Jamaica، المعروفة أكثر باسم AmCham Jamaica، جوائزها للقيادة في الأعمال والعمل المدني إلى جانب احتفالها بمرور 40 عاما على تأسيسها يوم الأربعاء الماضي في The Jamaica Pegasus في New Kingston.
حضر الضيوف الحفل بملابس رسمية سوداء، في أمسية استقطبت شخصيات من قطاع الأعمال والدبلوماسية والعمل الخيري والحياة المدنية. وكرّمت الأمسية أشخاصا ومؤسسات يُنسب إليها الإسهام في دفع تنمية جامايكا خارج أدوارهم المهنية المعتادة.
تسلّم Karl Hendrickson جائزة الإنجاز مدى الحياة، بينما ذهبت جائزة Eagle of the Americas Award إلى US State Department Bureau for Disaster and Humanitarian Response. كما نالت Audrey Tugwell Henry من Scotiabank تكريما بجائزة President’s Award.
