Area 3 Top Cop Declares “War on Criminals”

Assistant Commissioner of Police for Area Three, Christopher Phillips, says the Manchester Division will intensify its efforts against criminals as the parish experiences a sharp rise in murders.
He made the declaration on Tuesday during the opening ceremony for a newly renovated conference room at the Mandeville Police Station.
The facility, refurbished at a cost of seven million dollars, was funded by 13 companies, including several construction firms that sponsored the project.
ACP Phillips indicated that the upgraded space will serve as a “war room” to coordinate crime-fighting strategies across the division.
He also urged members of the police force in Manchester to remain motivated and committed in their efforts to combat criminal activity.
Meanwhile, Representative of Sponsors, Clive Wint during the launch expressed confidence the room will be used to its fullest potential.
