Portland B1 motor tour maps Tranquility schools, churches, and ridge-road links toward Rose Hill

The route runs northeast from Cool Shade toward Tranquility in Portland Parish along the B1 Buff Bay to Balcarres Road. Along that approach, the Buff Bay River lies to the left of the carriageway.

Within Tranquility, the left side of the road passes Tranquility Primary School and the Infant School, Tranquility Seventh-day Adventist Church, and Tranquility Baptist Church. Tranquility Church of God in Jamaica also sits on the left.

To the right, Tranquility Tobolgan Ridge Road branches off. That feeder is described as the link toward Pleasant Hill, Directory, Pleasing Prospect, Bongar Ridge, Mount Saint Bernard, Mahoe, Man Hearts Gap, and other nearby communities.

Beyond those waypoints, the narration marks entry into Rose Hill, completing the short transect from the Cool Shade direction through Tranquility on the Portland stretch of the B1.
