Eligible donors urged to give blood on a three-month cycle

People who meet donation requirements can usually give blood again after about three months, with as many as four donations in a year when eligibility still holds.

Officials say urgent cases do not pause for empty shelves, so the national blood supply needs regular support from the public.

They are asking eligible donors to visit collection points and help keep blood banks stocked.
