
JCA AGM and elections pushed back
The process to elect the executive body of the Jamaica Cricket Association JCA) will not take place for at least another two months, as the Annual General Meeting (AGM and elections set for May 28 have been postponed.
Constitutional requirements were not met in time to meet the deadline for the AGM and elections.
Dr Bennett who was elected back in April 2024, says the association is fully focused on hosting the West Indies and Sri Lanka white ball series. As such, he says the elections will be held at the end of that series which concludes on July 7.
