JUTC to Thin Ocho Rios Bus Schedule From 20 May After PPV Operator Concerns

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) will operate fewer trips on its Ocho Rios route from 20 May, after public passenger vehicle (PPV) operators who use the same corridor brought concerns to the state operator.
JUTC said the timetable change is part of how it engages stakeholders and plans services in a measured way. The company added that it still aims to offer commuters travel that is safe, dependable and reasonably priced, while accepting that the broader public transport market needs a workable balance among operators.
