Keturah Hamilton leads 2026 drama series Through Thick & Sin

Jamaican actress Keturah Hamilton is among the lead performers in Through Thick & Sin, a drama series expected to arrive this year. Hamilton appears as Naomi, while also serving as the project’s creator and one of its writers.

A release from blexmedia.com describes Through Thick & Sin as “a new vertical drama series directed by Emmy-Nominated writer Patricia Cuffie-Jones. The show is targeting a 2026 release, with distribution details to be announced at a later date.”

Production on the series began in April. The main cast also includes Thomasina Gross as Wendy and Tara Joshi as Tiffany.

Hamilton, who hails from Spanish Town, told Observer Online that the show “Follows the story of three childhood friends, a model, a singer, and an actress whose careers have hit a standstill. Determined to create the lives they believe they deserve, they develop a plan to build a website designed to attract lonely wolves looking for connection, attention, and escape.”

The writing team for Through Thick & Sin pairs Hamilton with Cuffie-Jones and Stevie Sandoval. Cuffie-Jones’ directing credits include the television films His, Hers & Ours, which stars Taye Diggs, and Brewster’s Millions: Christmas.

Hamilton moved to the United States as a teenager and first worked in modelling before turning to acting. Her screen credits include NBC’s medical drama New Amsterdam, the Sean Penn film Gaslit, and Nanny, which featured Leslie Uggams, widely known for portraying Kizzy in Roots.

Hamilton said the character Naomi, marked by resilience, gives her room to present her Jamaican background in “authentic fashion”. She also said working across several parts of the production strengthened the experience creatively.

“I was fortunate to land the role not only as an actress, but also as the creator and one of the writers of the project alongside Patricia Cuffie-Jones and Stevie Sandoval. Bringing this story to life from the ground up has been an incredible experience,” Hamilton said.

Through Thick & Sin is produced by Phillmonaco Productions, a company based in Los Angeles.
