KSAMC Targets Half-Way Tree Plazas in Latest Illegal Billboard Sweep

The Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) pressed on with its campaign against illegal billboards across the corporate area on Sunday, turning its attention to shopping plazas in Half-Way Tree.
That operation follows sharp public debate over a "Rude Bwoy" sign that was put up and later pulled down in Rockfort, eastern Kingston.
Chief Executive Officer Robert Hill said the municipality is recording stronger compliance from operators. He added, however, that KSAMC will keep sending letters to businesses that remain in arrears, urging them to pay what they owe.
