Stephen Francis Hospitalised: MVP Track & Field Club has confirmed that its co-founder and Technical Director, Stephen Francis, is receiving medical treatment in hospital.
In a statement issued Tuesday by MVP President Bruce James, the club said Francis is under the care of a team of medical professionals but declined to provide details about his condition, diagnosis or treatment, citing privacy concerns.
The club thanked the public for the outpouring of prayers and support, saying the well wishes have been deeply appreciated by Francis, his family and the MVP community.
MVP also assured that its coaching staff and leadership remain in place to ensure athletes continue their training and preparations without disruption while the club focuses on supporting Francis and his family.
