National Land Agency opens land administration capacity enhancement project
The National Land Agency (NLA) convened an official inception ceremony for the Land Administration Capacity Enhancement Project, a programme intended to reinforce Jamaica’s land administration framework and sharpen how services are delivered to the public and other stakeholders.
Officials described the work as a major move to update land management through stronger technology, institutional development, and added capacity across the sector.
The agency expects the effort to support sustainable development, widen access to land information, and help create conditions for national growth and investment across the island.
Government representatives, project partners, and officials from allied agencies used the event to set out the programme’s aims, direction, and anticipated effects.
