Popeyes Challenge Cup: 7 Teams Advance to Round Two

Seven winning teams from Round advanced to round two of the inaugural Popeyes Challenge Cup football tournament, which kickstarted on Tuesday.

Falmouth United advances over Holland PYC, Reno heads into round two in a walkover over St Bess which withdrew from the game, and Baptist Alliance was defeated by STETHS  Elite on penalties.

Meadforest FC advances following a 2-1 win over Progressive, and Petersfield was eliminated from the tournament by Roaring River at penalties. 

Also heading into the second round, following an exciting-double header aired live on CVM TV from Drax Hall Sports Complex on Wednesday, is Duncans United, after beating Grays Inn, while Wifi United were overcome by Lime Hall.
