Spice Fills Lugogo Stadium in Uganda with 30,000 Fans at Tourism Concert

Dancehall artiste Spice drew roughly 30,000 supporters to Cricket Oval Lugogo Stadium over the weekend for the Let's Get Spiced Up concert.

Uganda Tourism Board and Buganda Heritage staged the event as a tourism campaign to position Uganda as a destination worth visiting, with the Jamaican performer as a high-energy front for the push.

Widely known for commanding performances and internationally recognised dancehall records, the Jamaican superstar filled the venue to capacity and is reported to be the first Jamaican artiste to reach that scale in Uganda.

Heavy music, a charged audience, and strong dancehall atmosphere carried the night. Social media fans said the show felt bigger than a standard concert and was giving EVERYTHING!
