St Elizabeth Teen Charged After Father Killed in Home Stabbing Incident

A 19-year-old man from St. Elizabeth has been formally charged with murder after his father was fatally stabbed during a family dispute.
The accused is Odaine Allwood, also called "Easy," a farmer of Round Hill district. Police allege that during an argument at their home on April 28, the confrontation became physical and he stabbed his 53-year-old father, Gary Allwood, otherwise known as "Blugist."
Investigators said Gary Allwood suffered stab injuries to the upper body and was later pronounced dead at hospital.
Odaine Allwood was subsequently taken into custody and charged after he reportedly admitted to the offence in a caution statement. A court date has not yet been set.
