T&T win first regional red ball title in 20 years

Trinidad and Tobago have won their first Cricket West Indies (CWI) regional 4-day title in 20 years after beating last year's winners Guyana Harpy Eagles by 141 runs on Wednesday's 4th and final day of the final at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
Resuming the final day at 265-8, the Red Force only managed to add 2 more runs to their total before being bowled out for 267.
Evin Lewis failed to add to his overnight 122, as Veerasammy Permaul ended with 4-14, while Keemo Paul picked up 3-47.
With a target of 281 runs for victory, the Harpy Eagles were blown away for 139 in 35 overs. Only four bowlers were used with Jayden Seales and Terrance Hinds both getting 3 wickets, while Anderson Phillip and Joshua James had two apiece. Kevlon Anderson was the top scorer with 41, while Kemol Savory made 24.
The title was last won by Trinidad and Tobago during the 2005-2006 season. The Harpy Eagles were seeking their 4th consecutive hold on the title.
