Veteran reggae singer Turbulence channels the pain of loss on his emotional new single, “Goodbye,” inspired by the passing of fellow reggae artiste Fantan Mojah. Produced by seasoned St. Thomas producer Rojé Williams of Elite Generation Records on the “Trust In You” Riddim, the track serves as a heartfelt tribute while exploring the lasting impact of grief.

Rather than offering easy answers, “Goodbye” reflects on the heartbreak that follows death and the reality that, while life moves forward, the pain of losing someone close never truly fades.

With heartfelt lyrics, Turbulence expresses the disbelief and sorrow that accompanies such a profound loss, singing, “Cya believe we lose Fantan Mojah,” before wrestling with life's biggest questions in the chorus: Why do we have to die? and Where do we go after death? These universal reflections transform the song from a personal tribute into a shared expression of grief for anyone who has experienced loss.

Producer Rojé Williams said “Goodbye” was never meant to offer closure, but rather to give voice to the emotions many people struggle to express. “Goodbye came from a very real place. Losing Fantan Mojah wasn't just a personal loss; it was a loss for reggae music and the culture. This song captures the pain, the unanswered questions, and the reality that while life goes on, grief doesn't simply disappear. Turbulence poured genuine emotion into this record, and I believe anyone who has experienced loss will feel that connection.”

Known for using his music to tackle themes of faith, struggle, and perseverance, Turbulence delivers one of his most emotionally charged performances to date on Goodbye.
