Vybz Kartel sweeps major wins at IRAWMA Awards Night

Vybz Kartel collected nine awards at the 43rd International Reggae and World Music Awards held in Lauderhill on Sunday, May 17th .
Among his haul were the Jimmy Cliff Award for Best Crossover Song, the Best Caribbean Entertainer Award presented by Ky-Mani Marley, the Hon. Bob Marley Award for Entertainer of the Year, and the Peter Tosh Award for Recording Artist of the Year. He also picked up recognition for Best Song with God Is the Greatest and Best Album for Heart and Soul.
Kartel, also shared two wins for the track You Remind Me alongside DJ Khaled, Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, and Mavado.
The night placed Kartel at the centre of attention after a busy awards season, following his 2025 Worl’ Boss Tour.
Other Caribbean acts also picked up honours, with Shenseea, Spice, and Busy Signal among those recognised across multiple categories.
