Westmoreland teen dies after motorcycle hits cow near Petersfield
A Westmoreland teenager was killed Wednesday morning after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a cow on the Petersfield main road.
The deceased has been named as 18-year-old Finardo Whitlock of Logwood Return in Westmoreland. His passenger, who is a minor, was taken to hospital and admitted.
The report said Whitlock and the pillion rider were travelling towards Savanna-la-Mar when they reached the area of Petersfield Primary School. A white cow then moved into the motorcycle’s path.
