
St Elizabeth family attack leaves Travis Williams dead, mother and teen son hospitalised
Residents of Stephenson Town in Seaview, St. Elizabeth, are grieving this morning after violence within one family left one man dead and two other relatives badly hurt.
Police have taken a 19-year-old man into custody after he was accused of using a machete to wound his mother and two brothers at their home. Travis Williams, a 21-year-old labourer and one of the brothers, was pronounced dead at the location.
His mother and another brother, who is a teenager, were admitted to hospital in serious condition. Investigators said the attack occurred about 1:20 a.m., but the reason for the dispute has not been established.
