Gunmen kill two Portmore delivery workers in Naggo Head home invasion

Saint Catherine South police are investigating a double murder in Naggo Head, St Catherine, after gunmen attacked a residence in the community in the early hours of the morning.

Officers confirmed that two men were killed and a woman was shot and injured. The deceased have been identified as 17-year-old Kenrick Ebanks, also known as Wealthy Stunt, and 20-year-old Michael Elliott, also called Bull.

Both victims worked as delivery men at Seven Grave and had addresses in Portmore. Commanding Officer SSP Leighton Grey said the incident occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m.

Grey stated that the occupants of the household were asleep when gunmen on foot, armed with rifles and handguns, invaded the home.

He noted that the Naggo Head community had been relatively quiet since the start of the year. Police will now carry out elevated operational activity in the area to help maintain order.

Grey said the increased presence is meant to allow business operators and shoppers to conduct their affairs without fear and to reassure law-abiding residents.
