Barbados remain unbeaten atop CWI Rising Stars Under-19 standings

Defending titleholders Barbados still sit clear at the top of the Cricket West Indies Rising Stars Under-19 50 Over Championship after three rounds without a loss.

Their latest result, a 63-run win against Guyana, took them to 22 points and stretched the gap while sides continue to contest qualification for the final.

The Leeward Islands recorded the sharpest rise in the rankings, moving into second following a commanding 144-run victory over the Windward Islands. Jamaica advanced to third by beating Trinidad and Tobago.

Barbados skipper Gadson Bowens remains the competition’s top run-getter. Compatriot Jordan Graham has also entered the top three after posting 78 off 101 balls in the Guyana match.

Among bowlers, Trinidad and Tobago’s Daniel Holder heads the list with nine wickets. Jamaica’s Jahdae Moore and the Leeward Islands’ Matthew Miller trail him on eight apiece.

Two preliminary rounds remain. Barbados hold the upper hand, yet the scramble for the other leading spots is far from settled.
