Barcelona rout Lyon to claim fourth Women’s Champions League crown

In Oslo, Norway, AFP reported that Barcelona secured their fourth Women’s Champions League crown on Saturday with a 4-0 final victory over Lyon, powered by two goals each from Ewa Pajor and Salma Paralluelo.
Pajor, the Polish forward, broke the deadlock in the 55th minute and added another in the 69th. Paralluelo then produced a late finish to put the result beyond Lyon before scoring again in stoppage time.
Barcelona have now earned all four of their European titles across the past six seasons. Lyon remain the competition’s most successful side with eight championships, their most recent coming in 2022.
