Beverly urges Jamaicans to build skills through HEART training

Beverly is calling on Jamaicans, including young people and older adults, to consider skills training through HEART as a way to improve their prospects and contribute to national development.

Asked what message she would give to anyone thinking about learning a trade or practical skill, Beverly said too many young people in Jamaica are allowing valuable time and opportunity to pass them by.

She encouraged persons of any age who are able to take on training to seek out a HEART facility and make use of the opportunity to gain a skill.

According to Beverly, acquiring a skill can make a meaningful difference not only for the person being trained, but also for Jamaica as a whole.
