Google Play | App Store Attention: News Editor s April 8, 2026 BLOCKED INTAKE IMPACTING OPERATION AT ROARING RIVER TREATMENT PLANT, WESTMORELAND Customers in Shre w sbur y , Llandil lo , Darliston and surrounding areas in Westmoreland , served by the Roaring River Treatment Plant , are advised that the intak e leading to the facil ity is blocked due to heavy rain fall . The team is curre ntly clearing the blockage at the intake and full operation will resume at the facility as so o n as condition imp r ove s . U ntil the situation is resolv ed, customers will experience low water pressure or no water . A reas impacted include Roaring River, Shrewsbury, Petersfield, Carawina, Amity, Torrington, Hartford, Dunbars River, Frome, Georges Plain, Savanna - la - mar, Water Works, Darliston, Big Bridge, W h ithorn, Deans Valley, Caledonia and surrounding areas.
