A festivalgoer at the Reggae Therapy Music Festival in Martinique has explained his lifelong attachment to reggae, linking it to music he heard in the womb.

Speaking during a television interview at the event, the patron said his father played reggae constantly while his mother was pregnant — listening to Bob Marley every day.

“Reggae music because when I was in the belly of my mom my dad always listen reggae music. He listen Bob Marley everyday,” he said.

The brief exchange was recorded on site at the Martinique festival, where the visitor described reggae as part of his life from the earliest stages.
