Jamaica House Cabinet briefing set for June 3 with key ministers

The Government of Jamaica is staging its Post Cabinet Press Briefing on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Banquet Hall at Jamaica House.

Senator Dr. the Honourable Dana Morris Dixon, Minister of Education, Skills, Youth and Information, is listed as host for the briefing.

The scheduled guests are Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, and Dr. the Honourable Andrew Wheatley, MP, Minister Without Portfolio in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Science, Technology and Special Projects.

The briefing is intended to share Government updates following Cabinet, including information on public policy, national development work and issues affecting Jamaicans locally and overseas. Areas expected to be covered include education, foreign affairs, science, technology and innovation.
