Buju Banton and Stephen Marley channel tour ticket proceeds into community foundations

Buju Banton and Stephen Marley are pairing their joint stage run with a community give-back, directing part of each ticket sale from the Roots And Rhymes US Summer Tour 2026 to charity.

Buyers will see US$2 from every ticket earmarked for outreach work: US$1 goes to the Ghetto Youths Foundation, set up by Stephen, Damian and Julian Marley, and US$1 goes to the Buju Banton Foundation, which Buju Banton created.

The pledge adds a social-impact strand to a tour already framed around Jamaican music, culture and reggae’s heritage, while backing programmes meant to lift up communities.

Roots And Rhymes US Summer Tour 2026 is the first full-scale outing that has put Buju Banton and Stephen Marley on the road together. Gramps Morgan appears on chosen dates, and DJ Splackavelli is on hand to keep the energy high across the shows.

The dates coincide with Buju’s push behind Too Too Bad, his 13th studio album, issued through Gargamel Music Inc and VP Records. The 13-song set leans into reggae’s foundations while reaching for newer sonic colours.

Guest spots include DJ Khaled on Wild Woman, Ari Lennox on Satisfy Me, and Gramps Morgan on Power. For Buju, putting the album out stands as a significant career marker.

The Roots And Rhymes run opened at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York, and wraps on July 25 at Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia.
