
Cedar Grove Academy student Davian Armstrong dies in Portmore suspected suicide
Police in St Catherine are investigating the suspected suicide of 14-year-old Cedar Grove Academy student Davian Armstrong, who died at his Portmore home on Saturday.
Armstrong, who lived at 1 North Greater Portmore, was reportedly at home about 4:30 p.m. after being given household tasks, which he had finished.
Relatives later realised he could not be located. During a search of the premises, household members reportedly found him on a staircase with an electrical cord.
He was rushed to hospital, where medical personnel confirmed his death. Investigators were alerted and processed the location.
A post-mortem examination has not yet been completed. The Portmore Criminal Investigations Branch is leading the probe.
