LONDON, United Kingdom (AFP) — Several reports on Saturday said Chelsea have sealed terms to bring England World Cup midfielder Morgan Rogers across from Aston Villa. The 23-year-old, who caught the eye throughout the tournament in North America, is expected to cost 117 million pounds ($157 million) and put pen to a seven-year contract with the US-owned club, those accounts stated.
His exit from Villa comes after Belgium World Cup midfielder Youri Tielemans completed a move to Manchester United this week. Villa have already begun restocking, revealing on Friday that 20-year-old Switzerland World Cup winger Johan Manzambi is arriving from German club Freiburg for a reported club-record fee of just over 50 million pounds.
