
Clarendon highway crash kills 32-year-old traffic enforcement constable
A police constable was killed in a motor vehicle accident along Swan-Sea Main Road in Clarendon early this morning.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Constable Shavanie Davy, who was attached to the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch.
Police say that at approximately 5:00 a.m., Davy was driving along the Bustamante Highway when, upon approaching the Swan-Sea area, he lost control of the vehicle. The motorcar overturned into a ditch.
He suffered multiple injuries and was later pronounced dead at hospital.
