Argentina recover to defeat England and book World Cup final rematch with Spain

ATLANTA, United States (AFP) — Argentina, the defending world champions, overturned an England lead on Wednesday and won 2-1 to secure a place in consecutive World Cup finals. Their opponent in the title match will be Spain.
England went in front through Anthony Gordon in the 55th minute. Enzo Fernandez levelled the score half an hour later, and Lautaro Martinez nodded home the decisive goal in added time after a cross from Lionel Messi.
