Daryl Vaz Backs JPS Blackout Review as Government Pursues Energy Resilience

Energy Minister Daryl Vaz says the Government will continue its efforts to make Jamaica’s energy sector more resilient.
His assurance followed the Jamaica Public Service’s submission of a report detailing its assessment of last month’s blackout.
Addressing Wednesday’s Post Cabinet press briefing, Vaz praised JPS for engaging international specialists to assist with the assessment. He said the company’s report is now undergoing a technical review.
