
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Two men are in custody after security forces recovered a Glock 21 .45-calibre pistol fitted with a magazine holding six .45-calibre cartridges. The seizure took place Saturday, July 25, at the junction of Third Street and Third Avenue in Greenwich Town, St Andrew. Police have not disclosed the men’s names.
Hunt’s Bay Police reported that at about 10:45 pm, during a joint police-military exercise, officers directed a motor vehicle to halt. The driver obeyed, and both people in the vehicle were searched. The pistol and ammunition were discovered on one of the men.
