The deceased has been identified as Miguel Anderson, otherwise known as ‘Bingy’, of Quarry Hill, Spanish Town.

According to police reports, about 8:00 p.m., Anderson was sitting on a chair inside a business establishment when four armed men approached and opened fire.

Anderson sustained multiple gunshot wounds during the attack.

A second man, who was seated in a motor vehicle parked nearby, also came under gunfire. However, he escaped physical injury, although the vehicle was damaged by bullets.
