The police have named the infant who died in a three vehicle crash on the Pepper Main Road in St Elizabeth yesterday morning.

The child is 5-month-old Kamarala Forbes of Haughton District in the parish.

The child’s 18-year-old mother remains hospitalised following the crash.

Police reports are that at about 10:30 am– the mother and child were among four people travelling in a Toyota Voxy when the vehicle in turning right onto a community road crossed the path of a Nissan pickup truck on the Pepper Main Road resulting in a collision.

The Nissan pickup then collided with a ford pickup.
