JTTA Appoints Daryll Sutherland to Lead Table Tennis Marketing Push

The Jamaica Table Tennis Association has appointed Daryll Sutherland as its director of marketing, framing the move as part of a wider effort to build the organisation, improve its public profile and give table tennis greater reach in Jamaica and overseas.

Sutherland has worked with Jamaican and international brands, among them Bath & Body Works, Nike, Vistaprint, Physiotec and Dunbeholden Football Club. His experience covers brand planning, online audience engagement and community-focused outreach, areas the JTTA expects to use in connecting with supporters, players and sponsors across several channels.

In the post, Sutherland is expected to help the association push table tennis beyond formal competition and position it more strongly as a community and cultural activity. The role will also involve supporting partnership development, marketing strategies and wider growth of the sport across Jamaica.

Aubyn Henry, the JTTA's chief strategy and development officer, welcomed the appointment and said Sutherland would bring value to the association.

"Daryll brings a practical, strategic perspective to marketing. His leadership will help strengthen JTTA's brand and advance our initiatives locally and internationally," Henry said.

The association said the appointment fits into its continued focus on innovation, expansion and stronger engagement as it works to create a firmer base for the future of table tennis in Jamaica.
