Likkle Addi set to drop 7-Track EP Protostar on June 19

Dancehall rising star Likkle Addi is preparing to make a statement with his upcoming 7-track EP Protostar, slated for release on June 19 under Uptown Gaza Records.

The project features several high-profile collaborations, including “It A Tape [Again]” with his father, dancehall legend Vybz Kartel. Produced by TJTorry106, the track rides a catchy, energetic beat while showcasing sharp chemistry and commanding verses from both father and son.

The collaboration follows their earlier 2026 release “Black Card,” which has already amassed over 1.4 million YouTube views in just two months, further highlighting the growing musical bond between the two artistes.

Protostar also includes collaborations with Pablo YG and Addi's elder brother Likkle Vybz, bringing together multiple generations of dancehall talent on one project.
