Popcaan and Mvssivh credited on Drake's triple album release

Canadian rapper Drake put out three albums on Friday, and Jamaican talent shows up across the set. Twenty-five-year-old Montego Bay beatmaker Justin “Mvssivh” Junagadala and dancehall headliner Popcaan each hold spots on two of the releases.
The bundle comprises Iceman with 18 tracks, the 11-song Habibti, and Maid of Honour, which also runs 11 songs. Popcaan appears on “Amazing Shape” from Maid of Honour. Mvssivh’s name sits on “Ran to Atlanta,” a team-up with Drake, Future and Molly Santana, and on Maid of Honour’s “New Bestie,” where Drake’s lyrics reference Vybz Kartel.
Under the Iceman cover art on Instagram, Mvssivh wrote: “Ran to Atlanta featuring @Future and @mollysantana produced by yours truly and the guys.” Wheezy and Southside share production credits on that record—the collaborators he meant by “the guys.” Beneath the Maid of Honour artwork, he added: “Still can’t process this…contant sleepless nights for the last three years to make this play happen. God is the greatest…the show keeps going.”
Mvssivh hails from West Gate in St James. He studied at Heinz Simonitch and Hillel Academy and has been behind the boards since his teens.
Guest lists across the projects also include Sexyy Red, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Central Cee. Two other Jamaicans factor in: “National Treasures” on Iceman lists Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels as co-producer, while “Which One” with Central Cee carries a songwriting credit for Tyshane Thompson, known as BEAM and son of gospel singer Papa San.
