Reggae veteran Capleton is preparing to release his first full-length studio album in 16 years, following his last studio project, I-Ternal Fire, which was released in 2010.
The upcoming album, Heights of Fire, features collaborations with Damian Marley, Stephen Marley, Eesah, among others. Production contributions come from respected names such as Derrick Sound, Little Lion Sound, Mista Savona, and additional producers from across the reggae landscape.
As anticipation continues to build around Heights of Fire, the Fireman remains as active as ever on the live stage. The reggae veteran maintains a packed touring schedule, with performances lined up across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Upcoming stops include New Jersey, Connecticut, Martinique, Miami, Massachusetts, Guyana, and Canada on July 1.
Capleton has also announced a three-city UK tour for September, beginning at the O2 Academy Bristol on September 17, followed by the O2 Academy Birmingham on September 19 and the O2 Academy Brixton in London on September 20. The Birmingham and London dates will feature special guest appearances from fellow reggae veteran Luciano, marking Capleton's return to the UK following his acclaimed appearance at the Reggae Land Festival in London last year.
