Sean 'Diddy' Combs Hit With Third Sexual Assault Lawsuit in New York

Music executive Sean 'Diddy' Combs is now contending with a third sexual assault lawsuit, filed in New York by a woman who alleges he drugged and assaulted her following a date in 1991.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff later discovered that Combs had covertly recorded the encounter and screened the footage for several people.
The new claim was lodged just hours before the expiry of the one-year filing window created by the New York Adult Survivors Act. That statute permits people who say they were victims of sex offences to bring civil claims even after the standard limitation period has run out. The so-called lookback window shuts on Friday, November 24.
Combs recently resolved a separate sexual assault suit brought by R&B vocalist and his former partner, Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura. In her filing, Ms. Ventura alleged that the rap mogul subjected her to rape, domestic violence and sex trafficking across more than a decade.
