According to Chairman of the Issa Trust Foundation and co-owner of the resort group, Paul Issa, the housing project was completed in collaboration with Bartalozzi Homes.
He noted that the US-based company had previously constructed eight homes for workers affected by Hurricane Melissa. The initiative was led by owner Dirk Bartalozzi, who coordinated a team of volunteer carpenters from Wisconsin that travelled to Jamaica to support the rebuilding effort.
In a parallel humanitarian intervention, the Issa Trust Foundation recently donated approximately $17 million worth of medical supplies to the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital in Westmoreland.

The donation included essential equipment such as defibrillators and suction machines, aimed at strengthening emergency and general healthcare delivery at the facility.
The supplies were provided through collaboration with US non-profit Build Health International, Jamaica’s National Healthcare Enhancement Foundation, and other partners.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Issa said the hospital sustained significant damage during Hurricane Melissa, prompting urgent support from the foundation to aid recovery efforts and restore critical services.
