US dollar ends Monday at $158.55 after 47-cent slip, BOJ figures show

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The US dollar closed Monday, May 18, at $158.55, falling 47 cents from the prior session, according to the Bank of Jamaica’s daily exchange trading summary.
The Canadian dollar finished at $115.83, compared with $115.78 previously. The British pound ended at $213.34, up from $213.08.
