Dolphin Cove Swings To US$2.34 Million Loss In 2025
Dolphin Cove ended 2025 in the red, recording a net loss of a little more than US$2.34 million after earning approximately US$1.83 million in profit in 2024.
Total group revenue contracted by about 14 per cent year on year to US$13.1 million. Programme revenue moved down to US$5.9 million from US$7.5 million, while income from ancillary operations, including restaurants and gift shops, eased to US$7.2 million.
The company attributed much of the pressure on earnings to impairment losses on related party balances, which increased by more than US$2.8 million, as well as higher operating costs.
Even with the weaker result, Dolphin Cove paid dividends during the year, distributing just over US$1.48 to shareholders. The company said its 2025 financial statements comply with international accounting standards and that it continues to function as a going concern.
