Phoenix Chapelton Maroons will need a fresh leader on the sideline after Donovan Duckie stepped away from the Clarendon outfit at the end of one season.
Duckie, who began his stint with the Maroons in August 2025, submitted an immediate resignation to club president Kaycie Butler. He pointed to personal and professional development as the reason for moving on.
Although his time with the club was short, Duckie left on positive terms, offering appreciation to the players and the club's management.
His departure continues a coaching journey that has taken him across several major Jamaican football posts. Duckie previously led the national Under-20 team and has also coached Mount Pleasant, Montego Bay United, Humble Lion, Waterhouse and Vere United.
Chapelton Maroons must now identify a successor as the club seeks to continue the work started over the past season.
