Public Sector Staff Again Eligible for Performance Pay Rises
1 min read
The Ministry of Finance has advised qualifying public servants that yearly salary steps tied to performance are once again in effect.
Staff who earn a performance assessment mark of 75% or above and satisfy the stipulated criteria may advance within their pay band.
Officials say the increments are designed to acknowledge and compensate strong work on the job. The ministry also states that the scheme supports equity, responsibility and higher output throughout the public service.
