MANCHESTER, Jamaica : Decomposing Body Found — Police are investigating the discovery of a decomposing body found in bushes along Wint Road near the Mandeville Infant School on Friday morning.
Preliminary reports indicate that about 8:00 a.m., passersby stumbled upon the body and alerted the authorities. Police arrived at the scene approximately 17 minutes later and began their investigations.
The body, believed to be that of a man, was discovered face down beneath a grille. He was reportedly dressed in a red sweater and black shorts.
Investigators have not yet established the identity of the deceased, and the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.
The scene was processed by crime investigators, and the body is expected to be removed for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
