Dancehall star Dexta Daps is set to bring the first half of his highly praised “Champagne Tour” to a major close this Thursday, June 12, at the iconic New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The show will mark a historic moment for dancehall, as Dexta becomes the first dancehall artiste to ever perform at the renowned venue. More than just another concert stop, “The Champagne Tour” stands as a personal celebration of the entertainer’s 10-year journey in the music industry, with Dexta independently funding the entire production to connect directly with his supporters through a premium live experience.

The tour previously made stops in cities including Hartford, Rochester, and Sacramento, continuing to attract strong support from fans across the United States.

The tour itself is named after the Champagne Riddim, which includes the title track “Champagne.” The project was produced by Dexta Daps Music alongside U.S.-based producer CJTheChemist, and features artistes such as Spice, 450, and Nigy Boy among others.

Known for his commanding stage presence, passionate delivery, and signature sensual performances, Dexta Daps has continued to deliver energetic and creative sets throughout the tour. His ability to sound just as polished live as he does on record continues to separate him from many of his peers, further cementing his reputation as one of dancehall’s most distinctive live performers. The entertainer is also set to perform at Summerjam in Germany this July.

Meanwhile, the singer recently released his uplifting new single “Shine,” which has already started making waves across social media and streaming platforms. The track arrived on Friday alongside an accompanying music video directed by Lagikz Supreme, adding more momentum to Dexta Daps’ active run heading into the summer season.
