Mayweather Ends $100 Million Defamation Case Against Business Insider

Professional boxer Floyd Mayweather has ended a defamation claim seeking one hundred million US dollars against Business Insider and journalist Daniel Geiger.

The dispute grew out of coverage of a Manhattan property transaction that the outlet said lacked proof it had been completed.

Both parties agreed to close the matter without anyone accepting blame, and each will pay its own legal fees.

Mayweather's camp says he is concentrating on commercial work and future ring appearances, including a proposed fight with Manny Pacquiao.
